‘Carpe Diem’ is an excellent example of the trusted Gladiateur 33 class of Bermudian sloop, moulded in GRP and designed by the Master of performance Cruising Yachts, Donald Pye, of Holman and Pye. Built by Chanter Henri Wauquiez of Mouvaux, France, this yacht has a sound provenance and respectable origin. Built in 1978 as a fin keeled aft cockpit model, the yacht is spacious, comfortable and offers good sailing performance for both short haul and distance cruising. ‘Carpe Diem’ is offered in excellent order both inside and out. She has been well maintained by previous owners, and is in a recently fully valeted condition and ready for use. She comes with a respectable 2015 insurance survey and has just had a replacement propeller and anode fitted to her well serviced sail drive.
