A Hillyard 9 Ton, a super example of these popular cruising boats from the Hillyard fleet. Built in 1967, carvel wooden construction with long keel,  Canoe stern, believed to be Mahogany planks above topsides above the waterline and Iroko planks below waterline on steam bent Oak timbers. Open aft cockpit and a simple Bermudan sloop rig. Wheel steering.
“Vizanya” is a lovely cruising yacht, solid and seaworthy with a good engine and lots of cruising gear!
A significant amount of recent works on her, includes replacing of port side rubbing strake & toe rail, 2 planks renewed, part of deck renewed & epoxied – all carried out by professional shipwrights.
