Nelson 42, a serious work vessel. Robustly built GRP by Halmatic of Havant in 1973 to a design by TT Boat Designs, commissioned by Trinity House.
GRP hull painted topsides (Black ) decks ( grey with Treadmaster anti slip panels and superstructure (white). Hardwood rubbing strakes . Long keel
She worked for the Liverpool Pilotage. Sold out of service in 1985. A design speed of 25knots. Present owner carried out a complete refit on his purchase of her in 1988: Osmosis treatment and re-engined her. She was chartered out to Bure Marine of Gt Yarmouth, work boat coded SVC 2A , 2012 compliant with the code of practise. Licensed to carry up to 12 passengers.
