11ton Hillyard a Bermudan ketch with semi wheelhouse and aft cabin. Long keel and only draws 3ft. She was originally built with twin bilge keels.
6ft standing headroom below, Eberspacher heating system and hot water. Carvel planked hull hard chined, long keel.
She under went a major refit which included the installation of a new 50hp Beta Marine diesel engine, gearbox and new standing rigging.

The decks fittings were all re-galvanised.
Domestic systems all upgraded, installation of Eberspacher heating, the pressurised water system. She has a holding tank too.
New sails cut 2010 and new davits were added to her deck.
The hull is water tight and in good condition, the keel was epoxy coated.
Spars have been stripped back and re-varnished, Bermudan ketch rig. All her superstructure and hull has been repainted.
Her previous owner , a Marine Surveyor bought her up to spec so she had never been in such good order under his meticulous care and attention. In
2016 she was Sold away to Kent and is now sitting on a mud berth pontoon, ready for sea and further extensive cruising,
As an 11ton Hillyard she is a very strong sea going vessel with an easy motion she will cruise at 6 knots in most conditions.
Present owner has only had her 18months he has found her a little too much for him with his advancing years and bad health

Carvel planked single displacement hull, hard chined with long keel. Semi permanent wheelhouse/ shelter deck in the deep central cockpit,

open with bench seating. access to engine under cabinn sole.
Internal concrete in the bilge. An external iron ballast keel. The keel bolts were checked in 2012.
All superstructure is mahogany some painted white cockpit all varnished.
The decks are all epoxy coated sheathed marine ply and painted


6ft standing headroom below in the main cabin forward.
She offers 4 berths in 2 cabins. Berth lengths of 6ft 5ins. There is a longer berth as a double berth in the aft cabin.
There is a fully fitted awning over the centre cockpit. helm forward port.

Central access companionway down into forward cabin. gas cooker, sink and fridge immediately to port, opposite  a chart table.

Two opposing settee berths with a fixed drop leaf dining table sat centrally.
In the fore peak there are stowage bins under a fore hatch. To port there is a toilet with blank tank behind and starboard a wash basin.
Hot water is pressurised to the galley, cold water only manually pumped in the galley and the heads.


25lbs CQR main anchor with 60m Chain. She also has a Lewmar electric anchor winch sited on the fore deck controllable from the helm position.


Bermudan Ketch rig , all spars are solid pine and varnished. Both masts are deck stepped.
A spinnaker pole.
Rig was made by Hilllyards. Slab reefing in both the main and the mizzen.
A stack pack for the main. Roller reefing in the jib.
Standing rigging was all replaced in 2001 all stainless steel 1 x 19
