Description

Vessel in the water in commission and Ready to Go. GRP moulded hull and decks , Yanmar 2GM 20 Marine Diesel engine.
She is one of the last examples of this Rossiter’s Pintail 27 design to be built (approx 40 built) . Her present owner and only her third since new, has carried out some

significant upgrading and updating to the  the navigation and electrical systems.  He had stainless steel shoes on the keel as she is kept on a hard drying mooring

October 2020 insurance survey, available upon request.  Part I MCA registered.

She provides very comfortable accommodation , 4 berths in two cabins with good standing headroom.  Taylors paraffin cabin heating.

She is in good overall condition well equipped and routinely maintained.

Found to be a very dependable sea boat , rewarding to sail cruise.

two water tanks with 126 litre capacity . Foot pump supply , cold water only to heads and the galley sink.

Heads separate compartment with a pullout basin and an original Baby Blake toilet.

240v shore power ring main with RCD protection, sockets in the saloon and fore cabin.. A long shore power lead.

Solar panel changes the domestic battery.  1 of two 12v  heavy duty batteries,  Engine driven alternator.

Engine Model: Yanmar GM20 installed, new 2003. Twin cylinders, raw water cooled, naturally aspirated.
Fuel Type: diesel consumption approx 2 litres pr hour

Engine located under the companionway/cockpit sole.  Electric start , last serviced 2021.

Triple bronze propeller  forward and reversing gear box..    Cruising speed of 5.5knots  Maximum 7.5 knots.

Construction:

GRP moulded hull, GRP moulded deck with grey Treadmaster laid on top. . Black Topsides. Varnished wooden top rail and covering boards.

White superstructure . Deep open aft cockpit all fitted out in vanished wood.
Twin bilge keels, 2 ton long lead keel. Stainless steel  shoes added to each keel, as she stands on a gravel / stone drying mooring.
Transom hung rudder, tiller steering

Major refit in 2003 and since the vessel has continued being updating and routine maintenance carried out. .

Equipment:

Sprayhood, Dodgers with name . Over head height boom crutch.
Fenders and warps. Flag staff and holder on the transom.

Plough anchor  50m chain,  CQR kedge anchor.  A manual anchor winch.

Sails:

A Bermudan rigged sloop, rigged by Kemps

Gold anodised deck stepped mast with a silver boom , a boom crutch

Sail wardrobe:  Dacron main sail, in good condition, Full battened, slab reefing : single line two reefing points,  stack pack with lazy jacks.
A Roller reefing,  Tan, Dacron genoa, controlled from the cockpit, good condition with new sacrificial strip.
Cruising chute with snuffer, hardly used. 2 x further hank on smaller sails
2 x Lewmar 44 self-tailing Sheet winches , two speed. 2 x  Halyard Lewmar 16 and a 7, winches .

All lines led back to cockpit organisers  including the reefing lines and the kicker. Stainless steel standing rigging replaced in 2014.

Most of the Running rigging both wire and rope has been renewed in 2021.
