A Victorian Gaff rigged pleasure yacht built in the 1890’s with full tent deck cover, new Tohatsu outboard engine 6hp, positioned in a purpose built well through her counter stern. Sailed and maintained regularly and when not being used the boat has always been covered up.
12v battery with solar panel. 2 x bench berths. Sitting headroom only

Small galley facility.single camping gas stove.

Built 1896  fits her dimensions…..

First appears in Lloyds register in 1909

Then described with a centreboard & engine

(is there any evidence of her once having an engine ?

Are there signs of where a shaft may have gone through the hull ?

Apparently, she was built for a Mr Maxwell of New Brunswick,  USA…..

Built by a Mr Shaw of Buzzards Bay Massachusetts, US.

She is also apparently recorded in New Zealand ……..

Carvel planked, lovely lines of a Gentleman’s pleasure yacht of the Victorian era. Frames are of Oak and Elm with cream GRP covered ply deck, straight bow and a counter stern.
Tiller steering, open aft cockpit with two corner perches for the helm.
Long keel.
