23ft A Coastal Weekend cruiser offering ideal fishing space and comfort.
A fine example of a clinker wooden motor fishing boat, immensely strong in her construction. Built by Parsons of Leigh on Sea, Essex. in 1960, as an East Coast Potter/Crabber, she retains her original Bowman 3534 BL 180 diesel engine.
A refit completed June 2023 included new safety gear, digital navigation gear + radio installed for inshore fishing and trips. Re-launched June 2023.
An excellent work / sea boat which boasts being an historic vessel, carries fishing number F104. Insurance survey signed off by Alan Staley of Faversham.

Engine Description: The original Bowman 3534 BL 18hp, diesel engine. Shaft driven. Triple bladed bronze propeller. Electric start. Wheel steering from Helm position. Engine sited in sound proofed engine box amidships beside the helm position. A large heavy duty battery and isolator switch. Battery charging units linked to shore power.
Gauges and single lever controls dashboard at the helm.
Construction:
Clinker planked hull, half decked. A deep open aft cockpit. Clinker Mahogany planking on Canadian Rock Elm steam bent frames. A metal keel band clads her long-fixed keel. A shelter deck over the helm, Mahogany superstructure all epoxy sheathed and painted. Her decks have 2 x layers of marine ply, epoxy sheathed and painted, over the original mahogany planked decks. fore and aft.
Transom hung rudder hung from her transom. A robust rubbing strake and bulwarks, paint finish inside and out, re antifouled, completed June 2023.
Insurance survey verified March 2020 by Alan Staley of Faversham. She was relaunched July 2023. Kept on a mud berth moored alongside.
