The 19ft Golant Gaffer is a superb gaff cutter mini cruiser, designed by Roger Dongray, sail number G114 was completed in 2009 by experienced boat builder, Peter Hutchings,
to a very high standard. Firecrest is now reluctantly for sale by the current owner who has now bought a larger boat. She is currently sailed from Conwy in North Wales and is very lightly used.
The boat was constructed with full length Western Red Cedar strip planking (epoxy glue throughout), sheathed in fiberglass cloth.
She has all the traditional charm of a wooden hull, with the low maintenance of a GRP hull She has a lead keel (by Irons Brothers) and Iroko deadwood complete the high-quality hull.
This exceptionally pretty and well admired boat comes with high quality fittings, rigging and sails. She has a 10HP Nanni twin inboard diesel engine with less than 100 hours use.
A Hayling twin axle, galvanised road trailer (purchased new in 2009) with spare wheel, included in her sale.
