She has been day sailed for the last six years, the accommodation requires some upgrading….
She has a iron centreboard and is found to sail very well on all points ….
Badger is in need of a serious refit for next season, mast and spars are oiled with Epiphanes rather than varnished….Topsides and underwater antifouled before launching every year. Bilges repainted in 2013, cockpit in 2014 and the decks every third year last done 20016…

Clinker planked West African hardwood and larch all copper fastened to her oak frame.painted light blue with dark blue topstrake.
Approx 0.5 tons of leads pigs under the cabin sealing. an external iron keel let in to the deadwood.
Painted marine ply deck in a buff colour.

Hard wood cabin superstructure….Hatch, washboard and engine casing all varnished.


Two settee berths within the cabin, sitting headroom only. single fixed gimble for a cooker sited on a work surface, purpose built shelving for mugs.
Furnishings/ domestics need replacing, renewing or even providing, if required. Badger has just been used for short day sails, so she has no creature comforts….
