Description
This small but capable coastal cruiser is tidy and well-presented, offers the combination of a cutter rig with a lifting keel. Built to a high, very practical level of finish.
Offers 4 berths, is a perfect shorthanded cruiser. She’s on the water ready to sail away or to be lifted out onto her road trailer and taken to the next cruising ground.
The boat has had just two owners, from new 2003 (Present owner since 2011). She is one of the original South African built Dudley Dix designed Cape Cutters. The owner has sailed her single handed, all of the Essex and Suffolk rivers.
She was the overall winner of the 2019 East Coast Old Gaffers Race and has won many other local trophies.
The owner has carried out multiple improvements, including copper-coating the underwater hull, upgrading the deck hardware, blocks and rigging, fitted navigation lights etc. The boat has slept three adults.
Another Cape Cutter circumnavigated the British Isles in 2010.
