Description
Built to a Selway Fisher design, a Heron 15. Rigged with a Gaff main sail.
Approx 680kgs towage. Complete with SBS Road Trailer, 4hp outboard.
A small ply/epoxy pocket sail cruiser, completed in 2021. Hull built by the Cornish Wooden Boat Co.
then professionally fitted out by Alan Staley of Faversham.
She is presently ashore kept under a tent store, viewings no problem.
She would be an ideal candidate for the Scottish Raid race.
All the gear, vessel and trailer are in “As New condition”. A very regrettable sale by her owner.

This vessel has a centreplate with an external pivot, so her interior is not divided by a case.
Construction is centred around a simple plywood framework consisting of a fore and aft girder (which includes the centreplate case)
onto which are slotted the ply frames, bulkheads and transom. The hull panels are then fitted over the frameworks and the chines finished with epoxy.
A pretty looking and simple little ship with plenty of cruising potential.

The vessel was then fitted out and completed by Alan Staley of Faversham , Kent.
Marine ply sheathed and paint finished. single hard chine. Marine ply decks which have been Epoxy coated and painted.
Galvanised steel lifting keel with lift tackle in cockpit. Teak grating in the cockpit sole. Transom hung rudder with lifting rudder drop-plate.
Single cabin, fore deck, an open aft self draining cockpit.
Super structure varnished epoxied marine ply .
Approx 135kgs of lead ballast.
Accommodation:
Washboards entrance to cabin sliding hatch over the companionway. Set of steps into the cabin.
Holly and Cherry wood laminate on the cabin sole, access hatches into the bilge.
Entire interior is very clean and airy, paint and vanished finish to all the fixtures.
Two single berths either side of the cabin, length of 6ft 6ins. 4inch berth cushioning, fabric covered.
Good sitting headroom within the cabin.

Danforth anchor with 100ft warp and 8ft of chain. Anchor has stoppers fixed on the foredeck. Nonslip deck surface.
Hawse pipe, anchor chain led into anchor locker in the forepeak.
6 Fenders and mooring warps. Extending boathook
Over-boom cockpit tent/cover blue waterproof fabric (unused).
