Description
Painted clinker construction with wooden centreplate, she carries a gaff rig. This example was built by a Shipwright Johnny Milgate of Peldon, Essex.
Mersea Fisherman’s Open Dinghy (MFOB). Traditional lines, wooden clinker sailing dinghy she has been used for Class racing, off Mersea Island, Essex.
She has competed in the MFOB/ Winklebrig Fast Fleet, achieving some good results. Kept ashore in sailing condition.

White sails: White main sail with Blue canvas main sail cover, extends over the spars.
No 1 Jib, No2 Jib both white, used condition. A red Spinnaker and alloy spinnaker pole.
Ratchet sheet blocks, Harken blocks. Main sheet block with jammer and swivel.
Vessel has been rigged out for racing. Coloured synthetic lines. s/s wire standing rigging.
Navigation Equipment:
Tiller steering – Wooden tiller and extension. Wind vane for top of mast.
Wooden rudder blade , stainless steel fittings. Wooden centreplate.
