Josephine was built by Shipwright & Marine Surveyor Brian Kennell,
as a brand-new hand built Hull No: 0001, in 2000. She was then fitted out by Colin White of Brightlingsea and came supplied supplied with a combi road trailer, full rig sails and spars.
In 2017 she underwent a major overhaul, wthis included purchasing a new launching trolley by West Mersea Trailers, Colchester. A new cover made by NJ Musset Sailmakers of West Mersea.  Brian Kennell then made new made spars and a reworked  her rudder, changed it to a lifting fin type  fashioned by Brian Kennell.
During 2023 she has been refurbished re brightened and put up “For Sale.”
Capacity for 3 Persons, (a very good weight carrier). She has been used as a tender. found to  be easy to tow, and good to row (an outboard motor could be fitted). A dry boat……
She is large enough to be kept on a mooring and yet small enough to be easily trailer sailed.

Simple and elegant in her functionality and grace when seen on the water. She’ll be kept in dry storage out of the elements.
