Boat Name: Tula Pipi ex Thistle

Description

A forward keel stepped mast and a traditional tan canvas square lug sail. Tiller steering , two part rudder hangs from her transom,
Purported to have been a tender / lifeboat in the early 1900’s. She carries a Builders plate with the name Tula Pipi ex Thistle, dated 1926.

She underwent a complete restoration in 2017 by Kings Boatyard Pin Mill ,nr Ipswich. |Her present owner has spent out on  having her kept re-varnished and re painted.
To be sold with her: a simple road trailer.  A fitted PVC cover her to keep out the elements. Two rowing points, two pairs of Naval type rowlocks. 1 x pair of Oars.
2 x fenders, two buoyancy bags. Removable slatted sole boards. 2 x drain holes/ bungs.

Construction:  Carvel planked varnished inside.  A paint finish externally, all varnished internally. a centreboard casing with metal centre plate, 2 x thwarts. dry stowage forward and aft. Dark Green painted bilges.

Metal centre plate. Wooden tiller with a two part rudder, hung from pintels.
Single axle towing trailer with manual winch.
2 x Bronze drain holes with bungs.
2 x maroon fenders. Fitted Green PVC overall cover.

Rig & Sails:

Varnished wooden Mast and spar. Tan canvas lugsail by Steve Hall, Tollesbury. All associated rigging and blocks.
